Hi Cuties! The topic for today’s segment of the series is a product called Purus Mask, a refreshing, gel based mask that works to support a compromised skin barrier to promote healthier, balanced and clearer looking skin. Similar to the lotion, it is anti bacterial, gently hydrates all while also working on the purification of your skin in the process to reduce sebum production and promote a good pH level in your skin. It reduces redness, improves blood circulation and has an overall calming and healing effect on the skin. It also forms part of the acne range that I have been using on my own skin religiously for the last 8 months.

Some of the active ingredients found in the lotion are:
- L- Lactic acid (AHA) which works to gently exfoliate your skin, unclogs pores, improves skin texture and supports the skins natural barrier function.
- D Panthenol (pro vitamin B5) which works to hydrate the skin, supports repair of damaged skin barrier
- Zinc oxide (contains anti inflammatory compounds that help to reduce redness, manage oil production and gently disinfect the skin)
This mask is recommended for acne prone and oily/ combination skin because of its healing, antioxidant, anti inflammatory and bacterial qualities. I would recommend it if your skin is prone to breakouts, inflammation, large pores and damaged skin barrier.

How to use it: apply it to freshly cleansed skin after the lotion.
Let it sit for 10-15 minutes or apply a thin layer and leave on overnight.

Using this mask on a weekly basis, in combination with other products that provide nourishment and support, provides a good balance for the overall appearance and health of your skin. Hi Cuties! The topic for today’s segment of the series is a product called Roxsalic mask. It is a deeply cleansing clay mask that works to bring balance to the skin, reduce redness and irritation and an overall calming and healing effect. It helps to absorb excess oil, reduces the appearance of pores, dark marks and impurities. It forms part of the acne range that I have been using on my own skin religiously for the last 8 months.

Some of the active ingredients found in the mask are:
-Salicylic acid (contains small molecules that allow it to penetrate deep into the skin to gently exfoliate dead skin cells)
- Kaolin clay (gentle but highly purifying clay. Absorbs excess sebum, draws out dirt and impurities from pores)
- Capryloyl Glycine (regulates oil production by blocking the enzymes that produce sebum. Antibacterial against acne-causing bacteria)

This mask is suitable for congested, acne prone and oily/ combination skin. I would recommend it if your skin is prone to shininess due to the oil and if you are looking to reduce or minimise acne causing bacteria. It is antibacterial, supports healing and balancing.

How to use it: apply it to freshly cleansed skin and leave to dry for 7-10 minutes or as needed. To remove, gently pat some lukewarm water on the surface to break up the dryness and gently massage off in gentle, circular motions.

Using this mask 1-2 times a week, in combination with other products that provide nourishment and support, provides a good balance for the overall appearance and health of your skin. Remember that this is a journey that is unique to you and YOUR skin. So it’s important to find what works best, always.

It forms part of the acne range that I have been using on my own skin religiously for the last 8 months.
Some of the active ingredients found in the mask are:

-Salicylic acid (contains small molecules that allow it to penetrate deep into the skin to gently exfoliate dead skin cells)
- Pumice (a natural, physical exfoliant that helps to smooth skin texture)
-Zinc oxide (contains anti inflammatory compounds that help to reduce redness, manage oil production and gently disinfect the skin)

This mask is suitable for acne prone, sensitive and oily/ combination skin. I would recommend it if your skin is prone to inflammation (that “hot” feeling in your skin) and if you are looking to reduce or minimise the oiliness that the skin can produce.

How to use it: apply it to freshly cleansed skin, mixed with a little water for a smoother consistency and easier application that would cause less friction. Gently pat into the skin and leave to dry for 7-10 minutes or as needed (if there are very small, tight pores, you can add a steamer as well. It works to soften the skin, thereby allowing the pores to open up). To remove, gently pat some lukewarm water on the surface to break up the dryness and gently massage off (using plenty of water) in slow, circular motions.

Using this mask once a week, in combination with other products that provide nourishment and support, provides a good balance for the overall appearance and health of your skin. Remember that this is a journey that is unique to you and YOUR skin. So it’s important to find what works best, always.

I’ve lived with acne for 18 years, so most of my adult life, and it’s a big part of what led me into the world of skincare. After years of doctor’s appointments, trying different products and treatments, l became curious about what would truly help me with my skin - not just temporarily, but long term.
This curiosity turned into passion, and eventually into a professional education.
Today, I use what I’ve learned to support others on their own
skincare journeys. Helping people feel comfortable and confident in their skin is something | genuinely love, because | know exactly what it feels like to struggle - and how empowering it is when things finally start to change.

Jeg har haft akne i 18 år, altså det meste af mit voksne liv, og det er en stor del af det, der førte mig ind i hudplejeverdenen. Efter årevis med lægebesøg, hvor jeg prøvede forskellige produkter og behandlinger, blev jeg nysgerrig efter, hvad der virkelig hjælper mig med min hud - ikke bare midlertidigt, men på lang sigt.
